Post-LMFF, we welcome Salon Melbourne

We’re all still reeling from the magic and wonderment of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival – what a time it was.

So in true post-event celebratory homage to the design and divinity of the garments, beauty of the models and skills behind the people who make them so, Salon Melbourne is coming to town.

Those who admire designers and their trade while ogling at their wares will no doubt appreciate the complete package – the hair, the makeup, the accessories and naturally, the shoes.

Salon Melbourne, however shifts the focus of the previous major industry event from the needle and thread to the comb and hairspray.

The style and beauty industry trade event is an offering of the largest independent showcase of visual demonstrations, breakthrough technology and innovation in hair and beauty products. Get excited!

Hair folks and their knowledge, goods, services and products will be on show and open for all on the day, so if you’re a hair enthusiast, cut your own hair, style your own hair, or do anything DIY hair-related, you must check it out.

Goldwell, Caron Laboratories, MorroccanoilOPI, Excellent Edges, St. Tropez, Cloud Nine, Minx Nails, KMS California and about 200 others are going to be present and tooting their own horns for the enjoyment of buyers, media folks, bloggers and the hair, nails and beauty-loving media.

And of course, for those of us who do fancy the ragtrade too, Caterina DiBiase is going to be presenting the latest runway looks from the LMFF.

Also on offer are seminars, tutorials on makeup and self-styling, options for those interested in stocking products that work for them and the market will love.

The exhibition is running from Saturday 31 March to Sunday 1 April from 10:00am-5:00pm daily at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 2 Clarendon Street, South Warf.
